HEAVY-DUTY MICROTOME K

Heavy-Duty Microtome K is especially suited for use on very hard specimens. The extra heavy frame is positively rigid. The object slide moves in dovetail grooves and is operated by an electric motor with variable-speed drive. A pwerful object vise accommodates large specimens up to 8 x 5 cm. Smaller specimens are held in a clamp inserted in the object vise. Automatic feed is adjustable in increments of 1 micron. The object slide automatically lowers for the return stroke so that it does not contact the knife. It rises automatically to the proper elevation for the cutting stroke. Microtome K is designed to satisfy the most demanding requirements in the cutting of undecalcified bone and other similar hard objects in the biological and medical field.
