Leitz Model 1512 Microtome

All controls are placed on the front of the microtome ensuring convenient operation during the setting of section thicknesses, the controlled sectioning of the object and the rapid adjustment of the knife.

For precise alignment of the specimen and the knife, the specimen clamp can be tiltd through 10^o in any direction by means of two knurled screws. Knife moves horizontally towards the specimen, either automatically or manually.

Knife can be rapidly adjusted by hand, over a range of 36mm.

Each unit is complete with specimen cassette clamp or universal block clamp.

Each unit has a standard microtome knife holder.
